Back in the noughties, a GP, working as a locum had the idea that an online network that connected all the locums with all the Practices would benefit everyone (except the agencies).
The GP teamed up with a techie mate and together they devised the first version of the system.
Needless to say, it was a great success and more sophisticated versions followed. The current release is major version 4
In 2017 we embarked upon the task of building a second arm to the platform called Workforce - aimed at larger Primary Care services and Clusters of practices.

Workforce offers the ability to build service workforces with powerful centralised management of clinical resources, the ability to schedule across multiple locations using system AI, built-in compliance management, calculations all costs, fees and pay for both self-employed and employed staff and sophisticated reporting.
In 2020, Workforce is used by a number of Extended hours, Improved access service Hubs.
From the perspective of a practitioner, a Workforce account is simply another type of employer they can opt to connect with, if they wish to, from within their practitioner account.
We exist because we believe in the idea that we can provide a platform that is capable of saving time, stress and money and we believe we can do this without charging an arm and a leg for the service.
We think that we can show NHS services a better way to interact with the clinical resources that surround them and that we can offer the people that comprise that clinical resource a single account that connects with many employers and makes managing their professional schedule and pay a lot easier.
- To create networks of mixed Allied Health practitioner workforces around the UK, where legitimate employers can connect to those clinical resources quickly & cheaply, find and book any ad-hoc cover they need or build and manage their own workforce.

Note: All your requests, declines, cancellations and assignments, across all employers you are connected to, appear in a single unified Schedule screen within your account. The system prevents any clashes and handles change seamlessly, always keeping you informed via notifications. The Schedule always contains an up-to-date reflection of your commitments and history of your work.
These employers are shown to you based on your postcode and the work radius set within your Profile. You can then build your own list of those you wish to advertise your availability and skills to and they can request you for cover and chat with you.
These employers are shown to you in your Hub Management area, within your account. You can connect with these by opting in. The Hub will then induct you and build you into their service workforce. At this point, your availability and other attributes of your account become part of the system intelligence that matches a Hub workforce to a Hubs rota requirements.

We are working on bringing more types of legitimate Primary Care employer into the platform and more employers so stay tuned...
We offer two types of employer account:
- Practice Manager accounts
- Hub Workforce accounts
We offer free trial accounts to Practices so that they can see how effective the solution can be for them. If they wish to continue when the trial ends, we charge £150 per year for unlimited access.
Our Workforce accounts offer a service level solution for Primary Care hub services and clusters, including compliance management, complex scheduling using AI, all financial calculations, inc costs and workforce pay - plus sophisticated reporting.
We also offer free Pilots to PCN's and Primary Care services and have a number of paid license models to choose from.
They will pay zero commission and work directly with employers, building relationships.
Practices can find and book you for locum cover and you can negotiate and chat with them as part of the process
You can also connect with Primary Care Hub services such as EHS / IAS and PCN's / Clusters using our Workforce accounts.
As with all users, Practitioners benefit from having a permanent history of all cover they have worked as well as schedule of future cover agreed.
Practitioners can download the app from the app stores and stay connected with their account, managing all aspects of their account on the go.
Like all users, Practitioners also benefit from the clear, formal communications that the platform facilitates - keeping all parties up to date with their commitments and sending reminders.
In this way, they can save time and money finding the cover they need.
As with all users, practices benefit from having a permanent history of all cover they have booked as well as schedule of future cover.
With process and relationship formalised by the platform, the data becomes both reliable and auditable.
Like all users, Practices also benefit from the clear, formal communications that the platform facilitates - keeping all parties up to date with their commitments and sending reminders.
